Fishermen's Night is a favorite festival not only amongst the people of Vis but also amongst the islanders from nearby islands, the mainland and tourists from around the world. With guaranteed fun for the young and the old (or the young at heart), it is a musical and gastronomic festival that was created on the waterfront promenade, where only one thing is for sure- you won't be bored for a second!

Summer in Komiža
Throughout the summer you can join us in a variety of cultural events on the waterfront promenade and in cultural centers in Komiža. The schedule of events is regularly posted on billboards at the site, on the Tourist Board of Komiža's website or in the Tourist Board of Komiža's office.

Explore our history
The island of Vis is rich in historical anecdotes and interesting stories, which date back to ancient times of Queen Teuta. For example, the famous military history of the island kept the island closed for outsiders and it served as a military base for the former JNA and Tito until 1989.
Cave exploration
The island of Vis is rich with natural phenomena of incredible caves such as the Blue and the Green cave and Medvjedina cave. We highly recommend you to visit all three!
Trekking
A handful of trails for walking makes the island an ideal destination for those who like an active vacation. Select one of the trails and head out for long nature walks that you will never forget!
